“This inn was right by the road between Oxford and Chippenham, and has a very cool history. It has a beautiful garden in the back that connects to a path connecting to 2 small towns. There are also other paths nearby that you can go to explore. The food here was really good and the room was very spacious compared to other places we've been! “Stayed 2 nights at the riverside inn room 1a was spacious and very clean. Large shower with instant hot water. Very comfy bed and very peaceful and quiet. During our stay the weather was 26° and it was great to sit by the river enjoying the food. We had visited a few years previously just for a drink and had promised we would return and stay. It didn't let us down and we will return in the future. ”

“Stayed in this lovely accommodation for a couple of nights with our 3 year old son. Our family room was spacious, clean, tidy and comfortable. Just a tiny issue with the size of our bed only because of my partner being 6'2", maybe it's just something that the inn can consider looking at. The area was really good in terms of shops if you need some basic supplies, café and some good options for food. Not too far to drive to other villages in Cotswolds and nearby areas. “Really enjoyed our 1 night stay- lovely room, toiletries, great breakfast, staff were friendly and the outdoor area was lovely in the sun. However we were surprised that the hotel/ pub closed up at 11pm on a Saturday evening so when we got back from dinner we found ourselves locked out. “Staff and bed fine but the rooms need updating.The middle window has some issues and the bath plug doesn’t work properly.For the price being charged it’s around £50 to much in my opinion but once again the staff are fantastic.”
