“Beautiful apartment with all we needed for a comfortable family July 4th weekend away!! ”

“Stayed for the workweek with my teenage son. Felt comfortable walking outside and having my kid drive himself places (he is used to small town driving). Easy drive over to UW for practices but nice to be ‘living’ out of the bigger city. Loved seeing all the fireflies in the backyard each evening. Very attentive host, easy to communicate with and quick responses. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and kitchen had what was needed to be able to make our own foods. “Our group of 12 (3 families) stayed at the property for 4 nights. The lake house is perfectly located with beautiful views of the lake and full access to the dock with pontoon boat, kayaks and paddle boat. We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the water activities and fishing. The house is charming and has everything you might need for a great vacation: good room sizes with multiple beds, fully stocked kitchen, grill outside, firepit, screened porch, selection of board games, fishing rods,……

“This rental made for the perfect group weekend getaway. From the great shuffleboard table to the vintage arcade games like NBA Jam, this place was on fire! The beautiful view of the wide river from the hot tub was so tranquil a member of our group asked what lake we were on. It’s the perfect distance from Madison and Chicago that you feel like you’ve truly gotten away, but close enough that lots of activities feel easily accessible. “Overall the experience was frustrating as when we arrived to the property it was not cleaned, no beds ready, and no laundry done. The house was not cleaned until 10:30 PM. After reaching out to the property manager multiple times there was never a response that corrected their mistake and compensated us for not being able to use the property until 6 or more hours after the check-in date. ”
