“I had a great weekend. The house was more rustic than what the pictures convey but the house was charming. I felt like i was in the middle of nowhere. Views were beautiful even with the lashing down rain. The wood burner in the living room was perfect to create an atmosphere. The house had everything we needed for a weekend. “The property was very nice for staying a few days with friends. There were some small issues with locks and cabinets breaking but overall not too bad. “Beautiful property that is very well maintained and clean. Has gorgeous views of the Firth of Clyde and a hot tub for good measure. Hosts were great communicators, although when asked, we were told to take cooking basics (salt, pepper, tea and coffee etc) and cleaning products as they wouldnt be provided. Although these things were all present on arrival. To note, we thought the fridge was quite small for a 10 person holiday home. We couldnt fit a lot of our food and drink in for our 2 night……

“This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!”

“I booked a hot tub weekend away for my husband and I to the Steadings and what a beautifully clean and comfortable cottage it was. The owners met us as we drove to the cottage to show us around.
