“You are staying on a boat on land however it was modernised with flushing toilets and hot water and heating. Hosts Lynette and Angus were lovely and could not do enough for us, loved our welcome treats and nice touches throughout the boat. Perfect for a couple with medium size dog. Would give Hope to be back again. Thank you for the amazing stay ”

“Lodge was spotless, good size, hot tub great and very relaxing.Bed was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in the mattress needs replacing.Shower great very powerful however it didn’t drain very well and folded the floor, kitchen was great but utensils need reviewing, ie new saucepans and frying pan, oven trays needed .”

“Stayed for five nights amidst our month of Scotland travels. A bit away (hour or so drive) from most tourist locations if that's what you're looking for. Amazing restaurant a few miles away. Fiona and Andy were just great and had lovely neighbors. Helps to gather groceries in Oban before coming in. Lots of sheep! Didn't get to the BBQ but its a great option!”

“Very good standard of accommodation. Very comfortable beds, bright and airy lounge area with high windows. Very rural location. Quiet but no pubs/restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend for a large group (8 adults). ”

“We had a wonderful few days staying in The Old Smiddy cottage. Fiona and David were wonderful hosts, very attentive whilst being happy to give us our space. The cottage itself was very comfortable, all the rooms were a nice size, very clean and well presented. The garden was lovely and we particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife in the burn from the garden!The area is fantastic for enjoying nature and family activities.We would definitely recommend staying here for a couple or small family.”

“What a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. On an arrival it was lovely to have a little welcome package and to find the cottage spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed. No need to have brought wash liquid, toilet rolls etc. The surrounding area is fantastic and is convenient for local amenities.Wish we could have stayed longer. ”
