“Stowe is firmly implanted in my brain as an amazing place to visit, and the Timberholm plays a big part of this. Just a few minutes drive outside of the town centre, it's easily accessible and yet far away enough that it feels secluded and peaceful. What a gorgeous lodge too, with all kinds of activities and a huge fireplace with roaring flames if you just want to chill. “It was just me and my 20 y/o daughter on our now annual big mountain ski trip. She loved the breakfast, the bathtub, shower, and room in general. I enjoyed all of these as well but location was super important. Staying at the resort wasnt exsactly budget friendly and they make getting a reservation a pain. This place is located at essentially the bottom of the mou tain. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the skiing but it is a straight shot.Staff was super friendly. They offer tons of amenities……

“Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“Excellent breakfast! Sitting room available for guests was comfy with coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake. All very clean. Our room was small with little area for luggage. Hot/Cold water was reversed, but without my glasses on in the bathroom I couldn't read the script cap on the faucet. We ran the water for quite a while before we figured it out. Randy very knowledgeable about the area and a wealth of information on Stowe and environs. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Such a cozy cabin and some amazing trails right behind for exploring by yourself or with dogs. Loved the open floor plan and the loft area, much bigger than anticipated. Had an amazing stay and look forward to renting it again. 10/10 recommend in the winter, can only imagine how it is in the summer.”
