“After many years living in central Dorking and now living elsewhere, this is our ‘go to’ hotel when we visit family in the area. Since it’s refurbishment it is a nice place to stay and within easy walking of restaurants and shops on Dorking High Street. Parking is limited on site, but both M&S and Sainsbury’s have paid car parking and the hours are 8am - 6pm Mon - Sat. We prefer Sainsbury’s - come out of the hotel, turn left and go up the first small road on the left - it is signposted. The……

“The accommodation was very homely, and having home cooked breakfast was a lovely touch. Walking distance from the local shops and train station made it very convenient to get around and get what i needed on a daily basis. Highly recommended and will visit again.”

“Lovely hotel and pub. Room was impressive, nice and large, and spotlessly clean Super king bed was unexpected. Rarely seen in many hotels so this was a definite delight. Only downside to the pub as a guest was we were unable to get a nightcap on our return at 11pm. Breakfast very nicely set out. Ingredients fresh and flavoursome. If returning to the are, will definitely stay again. ”

“We needed an overnight bed and breakfast option after attending a wedding at nearby Farnham Castle. Dawyk Beech fitted the bill perfectly and was less expensive than an overnight at the castle. Our en suite room was a very generous size overlooking the lovely garden with a comfortable king bed. We needed to check in before the official time of 4.30 to get changed for the wedding and wouldn't be back at the guesthouse until after midnight. I called ahead of our stay to confirm this was OK and……
