“Friendly and welcoming staff. Unexpected room upgrade upon arrival which was wonderful. If you want charm in a beautiful Highlands locale along the whisky trail, this is it. Dinner was incredibly delicious in the hotel's dining room. Their chef is out of this world. Bar has every whisky known to man ... kidding of course, but they are well stocked and knowledgeable. We stayed one night and wished we had booked a longer visit. It was meant to be a stop on our way out of a two day drive through……

“Jodie is a friendly, hospitable host. Their family property is a beautiful, comfortable establishment. It is quiet, incredibly clean and well kept. The morning breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend for anyone to stay at Craigellachie. If you are wanting an evening meal, go down the hill to the pub. Also delicious and very affordable. “We visited during a heatwave. Hotel only 2 minutes from a beautiful sandy beaches. Went there every morning and evenings during our two nights stay. It is a traditional Scottish hotel so unfortunately did not have air-conditioning, but we didn't expect to have that, and it did not effect our enjoyment. Room was well equipped, with coffee pods etc, and kettle. Large 42 inch tv. Staff very friendly. ”

“We stayed just one night, but wish we had time to stay longer. Check in was a breeze and the staff were lovely! They were super friendly and welcoming. We received a great recommendation for a dinner place from them. We also enjoyed the decor and the feel of the hotel. It is definitely unique and beautiful. Also, breakfast was FANTASTIC! We would love to stay here again. ”
