“We did our research and knew what to expect when it came to showers, electricity, etc. Staff was excellent - very accommodating. We would stay at Under Canvas again. Only slight negative, we underestimated the number of families with small children. ”

She was a wealth of knowledge with restaurant suggestions, shuttle service info., things to do and just an overall helpful check in. Our room was very clean, spacious, king bed, coffee, great lighting, overall excellent. Our room was cleaned every day and our cleaning person was very nice. ”

“I absolutely loved my stay here. I stayed in the house and it was a great bed and breakfast experience! The staff were super nice and informative about the area also. Everything was very clean and very quite. The breakfast was very good and there were several things to choose from. This home is walkable to town and i did it several times each day. There was always a parking spot available also. I would like to let everyone know that if your staying in the house then breakfast is included with……

“A friendly, family run inn. Very typical of old Maine style with cute wallpaper, wood floors, and old Maine charm. If you are looking for modern luxury this isn’t for you. However, if you want a lovely inn with a ton of charm and a great price on the island, then you won’t find better than the Harbourside. The bedroom was big with a very comfortable bed and lovely bed linens. It’s an easy walk to Northeast Harbor with excellent shopping and restaurants.”
