“We ended up finding this location at the very last minute. IT WAS PERFECT! There was a snafu with our VRBO reservation and we were unable to get in. Once we hopped onto Hotels.com and did a search for something a family of 5 could stay in near Bar Harbor during the busiest time for the area, this house in Acadia popped up. “We had a very nice experience; the tents were delightful, the staff was extremely chipper and attentive, the grounds were interesting and easy to get around. Location was conveniently located next to downtown Ellsworth with several dining options, and a reasonably short 30 mins to Acadia trailheads. “As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the innkeeper, Steffan. What an amazing guy! Immediately made us feel welcomed and used his knowledge of the area to give us some great tips.
