“We had a great getaway for three days. The pictures and description don’t do the place justice. A great cabin to relax and reconnect. Just sitting on the rocking chairs on the porch with a coffee, a canoe trip on the river and sitting by the fire place was everything we needed. Skip was a great host and responded right away, making sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend anytime - 4x4 is recommended when rainy :-) Thank you for a great stay!”

“I was escaping a hurricane and got all the way to Jacksonville and after midnight which means you can’t reserve anything else same day and the just emails and says sorry it’s over booked and basically no remorse so my family of 5 and one service dog had to be homeless for a couple days while we waited out the storm. Pathetic of a host and poor communication. ”

“First of all, the hosts are great owners. They were extremely responsive both before and during our stay. The area this VRBO is in is excellent. You have 2 restaurants and a corner store about a half a block away. Another great deli (Pine Grove) around 4 blocks away, and then you have 4 different what I would call entertainment and eatery districts within about 1 mile. And no chain eateries (though you could drive from 3-10 minutes to find any and all of those).The ADU is pretty centrally……

“Traveling for a wedding in the Springfield neighborhood of Jacksonville. We needed a comfy place to rest our heads in between wedding events and gathering with friends. This place is more affordable than the big hotels on the river, and the bed is very comfortable. The host was very responsive and we had a very good stay.”

“Very cold not enough heaters the ac things in the rooms don’t work and the outlets in the rooms don’t work also the door was very hard to close.”

“The house was very spacious. Outside needed work, cleaned up. Inside the cleanliness was below acceptable. Had an issue with toilet leaking, he promptly sent someone to fix. Tiles in hallway broken. Second day coffee maker died, said needed cleaned, Im. Not cleaning someone elses coffee pot. Overall if Im paying close to 600.00 with taxes and fees, it should if been a lot more functional and cleaner ”

“This is a renovated old home in a depressed part of town. I was given the wrong address and improper instruction about the lock box. I Called the property owner but did not get a response. once we found the correct house and figured out how to access the property we were pleased. Kitchen is well stocked and the home is very comfortable. Hand held in the upstairs bath does not work and you need to let the hot water in the sink run while showering so that the on demand water heater has enough flow……
