“The pool, hot tub, and restaurant were closed. The hotel was under construction. I booked this place specifically for the pool for my 3 kids. Nowhere did it mention that the place was under construction.”

“Overall, the hotel's environment and facilities and staff are good, but two things make me uneasy. Firstly, the bed is wrinkled, which gives the impression that someone has slept on it before, although the quilt looks new. Secondly, the bottom of the swimming pool appears dirty, making it impossible to determine whether the water is clean or dirty.”

“The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is a fantastic place to stay in Crested Butte. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the mountain. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the beds were super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day outdoors. “Dishes were put away dirty. Kitchen dirty. No on-site restaurant. Good WI-FI. Front check in staff very professional-they did assign a wrong room. Understaffed.”

“The condo was very clean and comfortable. There was no humidifier and the light over the sink was out, but after calling the front desk they brought us a humidifier and fixed the light. The light over the stove top only worked on low. Everything else was fine and we enjoyed our stay. ”

“Not a new cookie cutter hotel, but an authentic carefully managed property with a personal touch. We especially enjoyed the comfort of the lobby where you can use your hotel room card to purchase a glass of wine or a 2 oz shot of booze. The name may be nordic, but I would call it Bavarian. The door in the bathroom was solid wood and the ceiling was wood. The breakfast room was thoughfully organized and the free breakfast was about as good as you can get without a cook.
