“This property was better than expected. The owner thought of everything, amenities for every age. The layout was extremely comfortable for our larger group. The owner also was quick to respond to the few questions I had. I highly recommend the property for a quiet get away fairly close to outside adventures.”

“We absolutely loved our time here and could not recommend it enough. The location and size was perfect and the unit was clean and inviting. The host, Erin, was very responsive and they stocked up the unit with games and many other needed accommodations. This was about a 50 minute drive to the Sand Dunes which was the perfect distance to be able to visit while still enjoying the peacefulness of Crestone. Cannot recommend this place enough.”

“Great view of the San Luis Valley and San Juan Mountains. The main view from the dining room is spectacular! We played games at the table and would stop to discuss the view and watch the sunset. Very inspiring and created a peaceful fun vibe while we played games. Very private and peaceful location. Walkable neighborhood with great views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. We drove to the Colorado Gator Farm and were not Disappointed. Rescue reptiles in Colorado so cool! We would defiantly stay……

“The house is beautiful and has a fun story behind it too--built of strawbales. It is clean, cozy and comfortable and we had a wonderful couple days there. Host was accommodating, hospitable and very quick in communication, check-in was easy, beds were comfy. The mountain views are stunning. The drive to Great Sand Dunes was longer than expected, but worth the drive. And walking around Crestone on Saturday was so interesting. Be sure to check out the 'Freebox' -- such a fun idea! ”

“We came to hike and visit the sand dunes but the weather didn’t cooperate so we spent a lot of time at the property soaking in the hot tub, relaxing, and just enjoying life. Everything we needed was there, plus extras. Great place in an interesting area. ”

Mountain views from every window, showers and giant soaking tubs in both bathrooms in the main house, and 2 additional bedrooms plus a full bathroom in the adjacent studio. Plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax. The property manager was great to work with and very prompt when I did something stupid and needed her help. “Home was lovely, very clean, well kept and inviting. The game room with karaoke, large projector, games was super nice and a big hit with the kids. We had a family fun dance party. The small town of Crestone was eclectic. The only downside were the mosquitos.”

“We could not get a hold of host for keyless access and to talk about concerns we had. I sent multiple emails and called him several times and left voicemails. He called us 30 minutes before our checkin saying he had never received anything from me. We ended up staying at a hotel and didn’t receive our full refund.”

“We fully enjoyed our stay.The house, really a "home," is well appointed. There is great furniture throughout---from a very well equipped kitchen to wonderful outdoor patio space. It's high level consistency---from super comfortable beds to a perfect dining room table. Lastly the setting on 2 acres is wonderful, we good walks up the road, and home is not far from the town. ”

“It's a rare treat to be on acres of land and open space such that surrounds this home. More than anything, the house has a peaceful, welcoming feel. Not too fancy schmancy, but not run down. It was very clean, which is often a wild card with short rentals. I enjoyed the unimpeded views of the Sangre de Cristos as well as the range on the other side of the valley. Crestone has not one but two grocery stores, and a hardware store! I guess my only warning is: Bring your own honey. Of the spices and……
