“I was staying in the local area as part of a Glasgow-Edinburgh Canal walking holiday. The hotel is about a mile or so from the towpath, but is well signposted and there is a footpath alongside the B road near the hotel. My room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. I particularly liked the bar and restaurant, which was had a great vibe and the food was lovely. Thanks!”

“Generally very good. Location: Kilsyth is a convenient location, while the hotel itself is very easy to find and on the main road through the town with ample parking. Food: There is a Lidl a few minutes walk away to stock up if need be while the restaurant food was amazing and reasonably priced. “Firstly the car park nearly ripped the bottom of my car out. Such deep unavoidable potholes need sorting ! The room was basic but clean with the biggest tv ! The bathroom was spotless. Horrible small cups with saucers, I prefer mugs. The beds were ok, perhaps better mattress toppers would give a more comfortable sleep. The rooms are slightly overpriced in my opinion. Would I go back, No. the staff I saw and spoke to were very friendly. £10 for my dog to share the room was fair. ”
