“Our group needed two things: lots of room for people to sleep and somewhere peaceful to relax and we got that all and more! The house is beautiful and the surrounding property is right out of a fairy tale. Nate is great to work with and the house was immaculate when we arrived. The house is wild and fun- some spot you gotta watch your head! It’s cozy though and great for inspiration and relaxing. If you don’t want to hear the rest of the group, this isn’t the house for you… sound carries! But……

“Amazing rental for the weekend!”

“Our family of four needed to travel to Albany area for a family event and we are not fans of hotel rooms. The Watervliet Retreat was a perfect stay for our family. Literally within 15 mins of everywhere we needed to be, 3 bedrooms (1 of the bedrooms is a very comfortable pull-out sofa) with extremely comfortable beds. Extremely clean and well-presented. A supermarket within a few mins walk as well proved very helpful. Lastly, despite it being on what looked like a busy streetfront, the house……

I especially appreciated:well-stocked kitchen - more than enough coffee mugs, wine glasses, drinking glasses, plates, etc. We didn't cook much but could have as there were plenty of pots and pans. “Such interesting property. It was lovely, peaceful and perfect. I would recommend a few more things for the kitchen - mixing bowls, dry measures and dish towels - but that’s all minor. It was really fantastic - especially the fireplace in the living room Thank you!”

“The house is very comfortable, with a terrific view of hills and mountains. Bathrooms and kitchen are well-equipped with the essentials and more. Six of us each had our own bedroom, and it was a pleasure to have three bathrooms in the house. It was an easy drive to Williams College and North Adams. Our host was very quick to respond to any questions we had.”
