“A house that is lived in but beautifully put together for guest rental. Warm neighborhood, wonderful hiking paths and fixings for S'mores and tomatoes from the garden were left for us. What a treat. ”

“Modern and extremely clean. Every amenity worked and was in great shape. We used the fire pit, grill, kayaks, canoe, and hot tub without any problems. Well stocked kitchen with place settings and extra spices etc. Super easy check-in. And host quickly responded to any questions. Everything was perfect!”

The set up was great, open kitchen, dining room and living room and made entertaining very easy. The kids had their own room and enjoyed spending time together in their own space. “Easy walk to town. Enjoyment limited by construction and blasting at both ends of Housatonic. No bedroom on ground floor; steep stairs to bedrooms. Four roomy upstairs bedrooms. Well appointed kitchen. Shana very helpful in addressing minor needs. Window frames need cleaning; some windows on back porch very hard to open.”

“The house was generously sized to fit our group of 12 and everyone had plenty of room to spread out and explore. The pond was fantastic and we all fell in love with Gary the resident duck. Indoor pool and hot tub were excellent and clean. The views from the porch were incredible! We had some very hot weather and the AC kept up pretty well. If planning to cook and serve own meals would recommend bringing large disposable bowls and serving trays. If catering, highly recommend Chickadee Catering.……
