“A totally off the beaten path mountaintop retreat in a quaint village. The surrounding area is quite stunning. Nothing but lush agriculture and nature on very steep hills with views. There is a rustic ristorante in town with pretty good if not gourmet food, inexpensive beer and wine and plenty of good cheer from the other guests of all ages. If you are up for something different, make the slow windy drive here and you should be delighted.”

“After a week in Tropea we needed a change of peace and we couldn't have picked a better location than "Al Grande Gelso". Even before our arrival our host Genesio helped us to receive a package from Sweden and greeted us upon arrival in a welcoming manner. “Soggiorno fantastico e rilassante. I proprietari sono persone empatiche, cortesi e disponibili. La struttura è tenuta in condizione eccellente di pulizia e cura sia l'interno della camera che l'esterno. La colazione è stata eccezionale per offerta di dolci vari, buoni e particolari oltre a proposte di salato. Il posto è di fronte al mare con lido dedicato attrezzato e ben tenuto.
