“We absolutely loved our long weekend in Massanutten. The property was beautiful and overlooked the mountains, and the communications with the property owner was fantastic! The hot tub really was a highlight. It’s also very close to the ski resort, really only a 5 minute drive. We highly recommend staying here, especially if you have a larger group. ”

The house is stocked from the kitchen to the game cabinet. The location is only a couple miles further from the slopes than we usually choose and that wasn't a problem for us.”

“A beautiful historic property and working farm, it was the perfect getaway for some lifelong friends looking to get away. Bill and Cynthia are wonderful hosts and the home has everything you could need. It is very large and can easily accommodate a large family or group event.We were even given samples of maple water from the frees, and farm-fresh eggs! “Wife and I were looking for a place away from the hustle that comes with NOVA normally, and especially the weekend of the inauguration. I must say we found the absolute best spot. Nelson county has always been a favorite spot for us to go to, but most of the time we have made day trips. I absolutely love being able to post up for a weekend in a quiet setting and being able to relax. Even the pup enjoys the quiet and are keen to relax next to the stoves. “My husband and I (and our pup) enjoyed our stay here! While the weather did not cooperate as we hoped for a weekend of hiking, the cabin was very cozy and we enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and spices for cooking. I'd definitely recommend visiting when it's warmer to take advantage of the fantastic wrap around porch and firepit!”
