“Just a 2 minute walk to the beach front. Right in town. Good parking. Close to restaurants and shops. Felt secure. Rooms are outstanding value for money at £70. Big comfy beds. Excellent climate control in the room. Balcony outside. ”
“This is a beautiful property to spend a few days in and I recommend it to anyone visiting the region. You also get a lovely view of Mt Taranaki from the kitchen window (weather permitting) which is so lovely. As other reviews have said, this property is luxurious and one of the cleanest accomodations I have stayed in. Wendy is an attentive host but allows space and privacy to enjoy your stay. “Love the room, very retro. Spotless, sparkling, had everything we needed. Hot water takes a while to get hot, but the heated indoor pool is an absolute asset. We had a room at the rear, so quiet away from the road. We will be back ”

“While this is an older property, it is well maintained. We were upgraded to a two bedroom unit for our stay.
Although the decor was older, it was well kept, clean and had good amenities, including a kitchenette with a full oven.
It was a straight shot down the road to the cbd and was easy to find on arrival into town. We would happily stay here again.”
“The motel is very easy to locate and close to supermarkets, parks, shopping centre and eatery. Nicely decorated with heat pump installed which is seldom found in NZ. Also, staff are very friendly and cheerful making you feel warm. Will stay again on our next visit.”
