“This property was magnificent. We rented the king suite overlooking the harbor. The suite had a great balcony dbl sided FP in the suite, beautiful bathroom with heated floor. There is a restaurant on-site as well as a bar. The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. Rockport may be going through a renovation in the town, not much shopping but Camden and Rockland are just 5 mins down the road. Overall, a beautiful hotel and location, ”

“After researching hotels etc. I chose this hotel. I wanted more of a country feel to it and not right in downtown where it would be noisier & possibly hard to park your car. The front desk could be more friendlier & cheerful especially on the phone. Usually I call the property directly so I can have an idea of the surroundings since this was my first time there. “The room was clean and attractive, and we appreciated having a Keurig coffee maker in the room. The continental breakfast in a pleasant dining area was very nice. The ladies who run this obviously care about the attractiveness of the rooms and the comfort of their guests. The only downside is that the view from the comfortable chairs outside the rooms was the parking lot. ”

The parking situation is "amenable", but a result of our stay coinciding with the back-to-back Lobster Fest and Maine Boat Show weekends. “We were looking for a location between Portland and Acadia National Park, and settled on the Camden area. We are so glad we did. Glenmore by the Sea was perfect for us! Our little cottage was a perfect home-away-from-home. The setting and landscaping are beautifully maintained. Breakfasts were great and delivered quietly to our door.
