“The property was just as expected. The host make sure everybody was comfortable, including our dogs. There was plenty of outdoor activities. Our check in process was not great, we arrived to the flower child home with another guest already there. It turns out the host have 3 rentals on this property and the guest checked into the wrong house. Even though the houses have a keypad entry on the front door, the host has a lockbox with a key to the house (I guess in case the keypad doesn't work) well……

“Wow! Gorgeous home. Reminded me of my grandma's house. All the comforts of home; cozy. Relatively quiet for being close to 290. Perfect getaway with the hubby. Hiked Pedernales Falls, enjoyed a hotdog from Fat Boy burgers, went back to the house and listened to music on the turntable. PERFECT!!”

“We were alittle skeptical at first of the water front.. but knew it has been very common because of drought that water levels have been low.. but it was plenty deep for my kiddos to play and swim. The cottage was perfectly clean, nicely decorated, and cold when we arrived. The kids enjoyed playing the games outside and I enjoyed sitting outside at night and watching the deer that made their way to the water… we caught fish and swam. One tip I can offer is to bring water shoes and folding……
