“At a previous stay at a different location whenwe arrived things were not like the pictures on line. When we arrived here everything was just like it was described and what the pictures showed.........even better. It was my 4 sisters and myself that enjoyed those 2 days. If the only thing we could complain about is the need for new toilet seats and moving the toilet paper closer then you know the home was near perfect. ”

“Beautiful quiet country setting and close to our destinations. Lovely back porch to enjoy the serenity. We would've rated it excellent if not for the dead rodent in the ventilation system. The heater was on when we arrived which caused the smell to spread through the house. We had to open the windows to ventilate. We left a message with the host and he never responded.”

“We had the most amazing stay at Carolyn's place. She left us a place so clean that we all felt comfortable walking around the house without shoes. I have stayed at numerous rentals and this was the cleanest i have ever experienced. The views were gorgeous, with the bonus being that you can see the Cornell campus from here. Easy access to all things Ithaca, wifi was fast, and kitchen was well appointed. We did not go in the lake but we did enjoy some r and r on the dock. Would stay again. ”

“We normally visit the area in the fall and stay at a place on the lake. This time we decided to try spring and couldn't stay where we normally do. The Bee House was so comfortable and peaceful. You feel like you are in a secluded area yet you are about 20 minutes from Ithaca and not much further to Watkins Glen. This is a great place to stay to visit the west side of Cayuga Lake and the east side of Seneca Lake. Hiking, waterfalls, gorgeous gorges (!), and wineries, cideries, and breweries all……

“The house was very spacious and clean. Close to Watkins Glen which was great. The owner was very responsive to an issue we had with the family room tv which wasn’t working and he had someone replace it the same day! The jacuzzi was nice also to watch tv from there was fun. All in all the place was great. Minor con it’s on Main Street and you can hear traffic driving by. Another is that there is only one shower for this big house., but we managed. Plenty of sleeping space. Beds super comfortable.……

“Thank you for the great stay! Check in was contactless and the instructions were straightforward. The studio is cozy and had all the amenities we needed. It has a mini split that keeps the space warm in the winter (or cold in the summer). We did not end up needing to contact the hosts during our stay, and the check out was also a very simple process. There are neighbors upstairs but they were reasonably quiet for a Saturday evening. It was too cold to see the alpacas -- maybe next time! Thank……
