“I (Mom/Grandmom) and my family (Son & DIL GD 2 1/2 & GS 3mos and youngest son) spent a week here, catching up and meeting the newest addition. The location is remote without being too far from the city. Peaceful mornings with birds chirping and the river below. Peaceful evenings with frogs croaking, fire pit nights, and hot tub soaks. Plenty of room to group up for family fun and enough rooms to have some time alone. We ate out once but took advantage of having a full kitchen and grill to……

“The cabin was very clean, hot tub was nice. We only used one bed but it was comfy. The host had to talk us to the correct cabin, we ended up at the wrong one due to GPS not registering the address just yet. She was very helpful. The roads were treacherous, especially when you met other drivers. ”

“Had a great stay here. Clean, well equipped, and quiet. Only criticism would be the master bedrooms bed frame wasn’t very sturdy and made the mattress sag. Overall would stay again though!Also, if staying in the winter, would be a very rough approach with definite need for 4 wheel drive vehicle”

“Lovely place for my husband and I for a getaway. The place was clean and well organized, they had everything we needed. They asked that you bring your own shampoo and toothpaste, I would recommend also bringing some cooking oil or butter and your own coffee. We got to watch the lunar eclipse, it was beautiful! My highlander had no problem getting around the terrain even after the rain. The hottub was amazing after a long hike! I would definitively visit again, highly recommend. ”

“We love visiting the gorge in all seasons. Winter provide beauty in the icicles and snow covered landscape. This was the coldest we had experienced. The cabin walkway was snow and ice covered making it difficult to get gear into the house which we chose due to ease of access. The cabin was very clean and bed linens and towels were new. The kitchen was well stocked with4 days worth of ground coffee plus’s a selection of k-cups. Spices and cooking oil were provided. There were plenty of……

“Enjoyed our stay! Listing was accurate. Location easy to get to but semi/private. Plenty of comfortable beds for everyone. Large enough to spread out and have us all in same area at the same time. Would recommend again especially if you have a bigger group! ”

“Family of five including children and grandparent. We all felt very safe and comfortable. Spent many nights in hot tub and made camp fires in the fire pit. The cabin was super clean and modern with many amenities. Close to all the activities that Red River Gorge has to offer!”

“Rent this cabin if you want something secluded, but yes, other cabins in area. For evenings it has a huge covered deck with a swing, a glider, and lots of chairs and tables. AND a hot tub to relax aching muscles. Turned air conditioning to 70 & it cools house even if 80F outside, maybe bring a fan to move air upstairs. Fit 4 adults & toddler comfortably with plenty of hot water available for all.”

“Property was not as advertised. Surrounded by abandoned buildings and sketchy trailers. Host communication was terrible. We went and found alternate place to stay due to above. Would give it a 1/2 star if I could. Still waiting for refund!”
