“We had an excellent trip. River was amazing and we especially liked reading the Legends of the Au Sable book that was left for guests. House had everything we needed including toiletries and extra blankets. Visiting the state park nearby was a highlight. Did not care for the camera in the backyard that I could hear every time I walked by while playing bocci ball. Recommend taking food with since there are only two bars and a dollar general in town. Emily was kind enough to drop off extra kayaks……

“Though the weather was rainy and cloudy and not what we dreamed of, this location was amazing. Games were provided with the home to keep up entertained inside and we were all able to be comfortable inside and didn’t feel like we were crowded. The water was so clear and clean! The neighbors were friendly! I would rent this home every summer if I could. I couldn’t have asked for a better location to be with friends and family. ”

“Our first trip to Bear Lake, the owners had an extremely well appointed house with amenities beyond what you normally get. The best part was that our daughter was spoiled with sand toys and we loved having the private beach. We’ll be back! ”

“Very cute bungalow and very clean and updated with everything you need to stay comfortably! Loved the decor and everything about it. Only complaint is that its not as remote and secluded as the photos lead you to believe. It's on a street with other homes that you can see from the front and side windows, and no window treatments on the living room or kitchen windows.”

“I really needed a place to get away and this place was halfway between where I'm from and where I was going. And it was absolutely the place to stay. Really clean. Very cozy. And everything about it was as advertised and more. The location is gorgeous in the middle of the woods. So grateful!”

“This was our first time at Schuss Mountain but it won’t be our last. My kids had a blast. They have so many different lifts for beginners to expert. And the place won’t break the bank. Very reasonable prices for lift tickets.The rental was just as described within walking to the slopes. We truly enjoyed our time here.”
