“What a terrific property! The spacious house easily accommodated ten adults (we brought a blow-up mattress to have enough beds in the lower level). Nestled in the woods with a large yard and a big fire-pit, the home had that up-north feel. Elk Lake was about a half-mile walk. We loved the location--an easy drive to Elk Rapids (loved Veteran's Memorial Beach), Torch Lake, Traverse City, and all the wineries and beaches on Old Mission Peninsula. The host was easy to reach and check-in/check-out……

“Charming cottage within walking distance of Alden Michigan. The place was VERY clean and the kitchen well stocked with all needed utensils and kitchen items!! Bathrooms VERY clean as well and plenty of sitting areas for guests. We had 2 nights with 11 guests and everyone had a bed and extra bedding was provided! Great dock with ample deck chairs and a mooring buoy which held our 24’ master craft boat all week long! ”
