“Very communicative owner and the rooms are like apartments with kitchens and living rooms, at least the one I stayed in. Close enough to walk and take the ferry to the Halifax Waterfront, though had to walk through an area that felt a bit sketchy especially at night. Ther is parking at property and it was very clean.”

“We had real value for money here. Nice to see that this 50-year-old property is being used and looked after. Everything I expect in basic accommodation was here : clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff. My room looked onto the roadside parking lot but the back has trees and greenery. The location is conveniently near highways. FWIW there are supermarkets nearby, big ones, and a walk by the water not too far away. I felt welcome, I was charged fairly and I would come back……

“We had a wonderful week at the Muir. It far exceeded our expectations. The staff were terrific and there were so many little touches that just made our stay feel very special. A fruit basket in the room when we arrived. A book mark for the books, little ties for the cords for the electronics, someone to open the door as we arrived and left. I asked for a book to purchase and they managed to find me one. Dinner reservations were made. The driver available to take us to local places. 10……
