“I chose Hotel Goodwin for a weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. I have never heard of it, nor have I been to the area but a simple Google search for "Romantic getaways in Wisconsin" gave me this option. “What a pleasant surprise! I have never been to Rockford, so I didn’t know what to expect. Large, spacious room, with an industrial feel. Had an amazing steak dinner in the restaurant, and drinks in the penthouse bar. The complementary breakfast served up omelets, made to order, as well as boast of other items. “This beautiful oasis has it all. We have rented many cabins but nothing comes anywhere close to the amenities of nature, fun, and peace of mind. We sat and watched as wild turkeys grazed the grounds and the deer walked on by. I was able to fish in peace and quiet in the perfect sized pond. The space within was so clean and relaxing.
