“Communication with the host was excellent; they accommodated an unexpected change in plans and were very responsive. Most of my purpose in coming was to cook for my stressed out college student, and the kitchen was reasonably well-equipped with pots, pans, utensils and dishes. There’s a full spice rack, too. There are two Roku TVs and the Internet was adequate as well. ”

“The home is stunning and well suited for multiple couples/families. We gathered in Rockford for a funeral and had cousins and family from out of state. We had a meaningful time and the home is absolutely beautiful and well suited for gathering of people to talk and play games. And have breakfast coffee together. Definitely on the ‘stay again’ list thank you, Todd PS: the teen boys loved the arcade room and the rest of us loved the showers - nice renovation touch, very European ”

“We stayed with friends for ODP at MercySports Score (soccer) The home was clean, check in was easy, and the yard was perfect for a group of boys wanting to play soccer in their down time. Comfortably fit two families. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. The host was quick with communication. Definitely recommend this home!”

“This property offers big city living with a touch of cozyness. Place is,as it says, like staying in a cabin(complete with wild turkeyes...cool) while being close to all the activity downtown. Place was clean and comfortable and hosts were easy to contact. Highly recommend staying here”

“Amazing house with an amazing hot tub on an amazing location on the river. I stayed with a colleague for a business trip bc all the hotels in the area were booked and it was much better than any hotel. It’s a quiet neighborhood and was such a nice break from the work day. ”

“The bathroom downstairs toilet leaked, the floor was wet the entire time. The ceiling downstairs was leaking, we had to have towels down almost the entire time. The house was NOT CLEANED. I had to spend two hours cleaning it after arriving. There was a dead rat in the kitchen sink drain. We had to sleep with the rancid smell the first night. Owners sent a maintenance man who got half of the rat out of the sink and left. My husband had to open the sink and drain and get the other half. ……

“This was a very nice place to stay, we just stayed one night on our road trip, it worked well for our family. If we were staying longer, it may have been an issue with just the one shower. But not a big deal for us. The place was very nicely appointed, well equipped and as described. The neighborhood felt safe and the area well maintained. ”

There were breakfast foods, etc. there which was so helpful for the first morning there.Also, the communication and follow-up with everyone was top notch.
