“Great place for our short visit to the Orkneys! Very close to the ferry service, easy overnight parking, very close to most of the Neolithic sites we wanted to see, and great breakfast each morning. ”

“The room and location were great and the breakfast was absolutely Devine! The only “negative “ comment is that the shower floor was slippery with no mat or strips on the shower floor to keep you from potentially slipping. Loved everything about this place in terms of our needs as was right across the street from the ferry terminal. No elevators to second floor so be forewarned if you are elderly this might be a negative, but for these two older ladies, we loved the staff and the place.”

“Only problem is that the toilet in our room was poor at flushing. That was a bit unfortunate. The lounge area, the staff, the food was absolutely great. Such lovely people. ”

“We got in just on darkness after a 7pm departure from Scrabster. The room was clean and compact but had everything we needed. The mattress on the bed was a little springy but all in all, comfortable. I'd stay here again.”

“We loved our stay. The home is conveniently located mear to the ferry. It is also not far to drive to a number of historical sites. The home cooked breakfast was lovely, and the view from the dining room was beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful stay! ”
