“Just exactly what we needed as a landing spot near Skye! Service was wonderful and the breakfast was great with a beautiful view from our table. It’s not a large place, but I especially liked that about the property. If you’re looking for a place away from corporate hotels this is it!”

“Friendly staff. Beautiful room. No issue arriving late on the ferry from Aberdeen. No parking but easy to find free on the road parking nearby. Lovely and plentiful breakfast but as this was not included in my booking we were surprised to discover it was so expensive (£18 each). Fabulous location which means you can walk to everything in Kirkwall and easily drive to anywhere on the main island. Could be a good base for a long stay on Orkney.”

“Our stay was pleasant. Staff was courteous and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. Its an old building but well kept. Nothing fancy but enough for what we needed. We were out all day & went back to hotel to sleep. Walls are thin like other people mentioned, so u could hear yr next door neighbors tv. It didn't bother us, cause it was on while ours was too. There is a bar across the road so on the weekend people coming and going can be heard, but then again, we had our windows……

“The property was absolutely beautiful with a stunning view. The service was first class from checkin through every meal and drink. Loved the pub, quiet and well stocked with a knowledgeable bartender. Food was excellent. And super conveniently located to the key sites on Isle of Skye. Just perfect in every regard ”
