“A lovely cosy room with beautiful view. A very nice breakfast brought to our room on a trolley to eat at a table by the window in our room by the delightful warm and friendly Minnie. ”

“This was a lovely spot to stay for my short stay in Lerwick. The host was friendly and helpful, and their self-serve breakfast room is a lovely place for a bite to eat to start the day. The room is open at all times, so a quick bite is always available. And the home-made baked goods are DELICIOUS - loved the carrot cak. My only minor quibble is that the ferry arrives so early in the morning and the check-in isn't until much later in the day. Would be great to have an earlier check in option.……

“Andrew and Alison are amazing!! Breakfast every morning is fantastic, and Andrew is great at helping you plan your day based on the weather, your bookings (book your tours in advance!) and your transportation options. Super quiet and you can walk into town easily! Go stay with them!”

“The location is great in Uig and have a great view of the harbour . Its worth for the price. Check in at the Uig hotel just nearby, very close. However the dinner of the restaurant of the Uig hotel is not good. Not recommended to have meals there.”

“We loved our stay at Kilmuir Park. The owner was delightful, very welcoming. The room was so comfortable and we even had our own sitting/dining room! Breakfast was super yummy. I’d definitely go back.”

“My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Glendale View, so pleased to be on the lest touristed side of Skye. Jane does a beautiful job taking care of her guests, she is a fun and open person who will do whatever she can to make your stay the best it can be. The facilities are new, clean and up to date with heated flooring and USB ports around the room. The rooms are all on the ground floor so no stairs to lug your baggage up and down! All breakfasts were absolutely delicious, be sure to try the……

“Convenient location”

“Rod and Gloria were wonderful host. Our ferry arrived after dinner hours, so they prepared a platter of sandwiches so we'd have something for dinner. Rod greeted us upon arrival and provided an overview of the area and recommended various sites to see. We stayed at several B&Bs during our Scotland trip and this one was our favorite. ”

“Nice quiet location Beautiful views”

“Our host John was so kind and helpful about what to see while we’re there and restaurant recommendations. Our spacious and immaculate accommodations had a separate sitting room with complimentary drinks and snacks. The king sized bed had beautiful and comfortable linens. The bathroom was large and luxurious. The complimentary breakfast each morning was delicious and served in a pretty dining room with beautiful views of the property. We enjoyed our time in Orkney and staying at John’s place……

“Ideal location and amenities. Cabin very clean & tidy with towels, tv, tea bags & sugar provided! Kitchen fitted with all necessary items. Host James very kindly had put heaters on for us arriving & he was fab at responding to any questions we had. Lovely stay, highly recommend! ”
