“The cottage is cosy, clean and very inviting. Shiskine is a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very appealing. It's very close to Blackwaterfoot, which is beautiful. The Kinloch Hotel does marvellous meals (takeaways too). What really makes the stay worthwhile is the landlady, Jan. Last year, when we couldn't get off the island due to ferry problems, Jan put us up for an extra with no charge. This year, the same problem occurred and, while we were at Lochranza, she texted me to check things were……

“This property was located perfectly for everything we wanted to do. It was central so we could get easy access to portrait, but it still allowed us to go all directions in the aisle of sky. It was very quiet and very much country setting but still within 10 minutes of town.”
