“Avril was a lovely host, very chatty and friendly and knew a lot about the area and it's history. We were attending a wedding at the Seamill Hydro which is only a couple of houses along from the B&B, super handy! Our room was clean and comfortable. “We stayed as part of my 30th birthday celebrations, it’s been a tradition of mines and my mums for years that at birthdays we’d stay overnight at hotels but we hadn’t done it for a few years and as a surprise she booked the Piersland for my 30th and we had the best time, extremely friendly, comfortable and great value for money all things considering, couldn’t find fault at all! Would definitely recommend ”

“A misunderstanding became apparent on arrival. I had understood that dinner and breakfast was available. I was informed that this was early season (12th May) and the kitchen was closed. The hosts directed me to Rothesay town centre, 1.7miles away, where food was available, this turned out to be very good indeed. ”

“Great hotel and location, breakfast was good. We had a problem with a leaky window and were immediately upgraded to the beautiful honeymoon suite. The staff were all exceptional!!! So friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately had to cut our stay a day late due to unforeseen circumstances but were refunded for the extra night that we couldn’t stay. A wedding was on and it was awesome to see the bagpiper and the wedding guests all having a great time. ”
