“Lovely B&B in a nicely restored building with a view of the sea in the historic center of Agrigento. We were warmly greeted by the owner Toto who speaks english well. Our room was quite large with a king-size bed, sofa, hi-top table and chairs, armoire, and a large terrace with seating for four. The covered terrace overlooked the garden and had a partially obstructed view of the sea. The bedroom and tiled bathroom were both very clean, like new, and the bed comfortable. “Staying at Daphne house is a must. First, other reviews are 100 correct, as this property is superbly clean, decorated, and taken care of. There is even a lift for accessability. The homecooked breakfast and cakes were all made from locally sourced ingredients. Honestly, the cakes should be sold in a shop. They are amazing. The host will go out of her way to make you comfortable. We had a hard afternoon before checking in, so to make us feel more settled she gave us some cake and coffee on……

“We stayed for a week and we were very happy with the service. The breakfast was very good with many options to choose from. The staff is very accommodating and they go out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed. The first room they gave us after two days had a bit of mould forming on the wall due to the rainy humid weather and while we were out, without us saying anything or complaining at all, they took it upon themselves to switch our rooms. “Perfect home base to explore the Valley of the Temples. It is literally 1 minute by car or around a 12 minute walk. Loved the change of pace vs other Sicilian towns/accomodations. We stayed in a family villa/apartment and it was huge for our family of 4. My kids and wife loved the breakfast. They felt it was “homemade” vs the commercial breakfast we had been having at other hotels. The hosts and staff were amazing and very friendly. ”
