“This house was a hidden gem! We had 7 different families staying with kids ages 6-17. The pool and hot tub were a hit and the lake days were amazing. So many beautiful memories were created here. The morning and sunset views were worth it all. The host was easy to contact if I ever needed any help or assistant's He was there. We would definitely stay there again.Thank you for a beautiful stay.”

“As expected, the tent was on a cool lake in a very remote spot. Unfortunately, the tent was definitely not the one pictured in the listing. The listing showed a round tent, and this one was a typical “house” style. It is quite windy on the lake, so be prepared to keep the tent closed up. The lake itself is hard to use, but it was a beautiful sunset. They had a bathroom trailer nearby but hauled it off at night, so we had to drive to some less than desirable accommodations up the hill. Overall,……

“We stayed over the weekend of the 4th of July & were surprised by how un-crowded our side of the lake was! We absolutely loved sitting on the beach & thought the area was beautiful & quiet. But, the pictures weren’t accurate for where we stayed. It showed a flat area around the trailer, a fire pit with wood, a picnic table, & a grill. None of that was there & we had very little flat space around the trailer. There was a fire pit, but it was pressed up against bushes. The solar power wasn’t……

“Very comfortable property thoughtfully renovated to be fun and almost whimsical. Modern amenities, new appliances and granite throughout. The backyard was a real surprise, green and welcoming and completely screened from neighbors. Nice patio with a great deck above. I went to many of the Rockhounding locations and it was so nice to return to this home.”

“I loved the location, very private and a lot of space around the beach. The only down side I would give is the bathrooms are kind of far. Other than the the host responded very quickly and our stay was fun.”

“This camper was on a quiet lake and the views were beautiful. We rented a kayak for a day and it was very inexpensive. The hosts communicated very well with us and even came out to help us with how to use the generator. The camper itself was clean, but you can tell it's been sitting on the beach for awhile, because there was built up sand on the window sills and sand in sink and the shower water. No matter how much you sweep, there will always be sand and hard not to get it in your bed. Most of……

“While this place was absolutely beautiful, there were a few issues. 1. The map location on VRBO is incorrect and brought me to a rough road past some railroad tracks. After calling the host, he gave me the correct directions. But it was frustrating that the location was incorrect. 2. The bathroom was a 10 min walk away/each way. So if you just wanted to brush your teeth (and it was very dark outside), you had to take at least 25 mins for the whole adventure! 3. The bathroom was a little rundown.……
