We spent our two days traveling between saugatuck, south haven, and plainwell and then came back to the lake house to relax. The hot tub was in a perfect location that felt private, but we could still enjoy watching wild life. The kitchen was fully stocked with both cooking essentials and some spices. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We would stay here again without hesitation. ”

“We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in the chalet. Everything was just as advertised and the home was very clean. There was a lot more space than we expected and it was well stocked with all the necessities, which is not very common with most rentals. The location was excellent. It feels like you’re in a remote area tucked away when you’re in the chalet, but it is a very short drive to anywhere you want to go. We had a toddler with us and all the toys were perfect for him. “The Lake House was the perfect place to welcome the year’s first snowfall. The property is well maintained and the house was lovely. Wally welcomed us on our first day and we immediately felt comfortable as he gave us some great pointers and recommendations. The kitchen came well equipped, we had plenty of towels and the beds were all clean and comfy. ”

“The property was really ideal for our stay. We had 3 teen gymnasts and 4 parents total. Plenty of outdoor areas to explore, and a sweet bakery about a mile down the road. It was close enough to Battle Creek to be able to commute everyday for the competition. Rob is super helpful and quick to respond. The kitchen had plenty of amenities to be able to cook meals, there were plenty of bathroom supplies and cleaning supplies for anything we might need. This would be a perfect spot in warm weather……

“We appreciated having a house largen enough to house an entire roller derby team at a reasonable price. That said it would have been nice if all of the showers and the pool heater had worked. The hot tub was a nice feature, but the water was an alarmingly opaque greenish color. ”

“The owner is easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. Hunter allowed our pet birds, moved our stay by one day, plus added on an extra day upon request. The house seems to be a fairly new rental; not a lot of pictures and such yet, but kitchen is well stocked and it is comfortable and in a nice area. We drove 2 minutes to throw kayaks in the lake and the walk path is right there. It is close to Holland Mi. for the festival, Grand Rapids for the Meier Gardens and Sculptures. And there are……

“It was a very nice cottage. It’s right on the water which is nice. We’re from Florida so seeing snow was a treat for us. We liked that there was a local grocery store not too far up the road. Overall it’s a nice place for a couple to stay or a couple with one child. ”
