“We needed to make a last minute trip to MI from SC to visit family. We were so lucky that this little gem was available. It is small and cozy but had everything we needed. The weather was cold and snowy. It was beautiful. It felt like we were inside a snow globe during our stay. It was only 8 minutes from our family which made it very convenient. We usually make MI our summer vacation but after this stay we are thinking of adding a winter trip. This was a wonderful winter retreat.”

“Everyman’s House served as convenient lodging for our weekend in K’zoo. We were fascinated by the background and significance of this house. It retains many of its historic features while providing modern conveniences. As mentioned, there was significant noise with heavy traffic use at certain times of the day. ”

“Excellent accommodations and well stocked with towels and all the regular accommodations needed to make an extended stay pleasant and welcoming. Perfect sized house for 4 adults and 3 kids ages 14, 12 and 7. Plenty of space, super clean and very relaxing. We were here for 5 nights and enjoyed the comfort and location as it made our daily trips into Kalamazoo very easy. “My wife and I stayed for a weekend. Jerry and Cogan were excellent hosts. Cogan gave us a tour of the place and made sure we knew where everything was located. Beautiful large lake home out in the country on Crooked Lake. Easy 5-10 minute drive to local eateries (we recommend NEDS on Gull Lake - great pizza and subs and online ordering!).The home was very clean, updated, and cozy.
