“What a lovely calm hotel. Loved that it was just a short stroll from the necessaries, beautifully quiet location. Everything was easy and staff super friendly. Spa was spotless. “Bedroom - good size and comfortable. Furnishings - dated but in reasonable condition. Didnt pre-order food as was not sure of arrival time. Evening meal was good but some delay on a pudding serving - as a result no charge for pudding and free drink - so all good”

“Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor……

“We stayed as it was local to an event we had the next day, can’t complain for the price so overall happy. Breakfast is continental so no cooked or warm food, not sure if there is any option but couldn’t see any and wasn’t offered so i assume not. Very quiet location, value for money.”
