The water is mostly always clean and transparent, although the current sometimes brings natural debris. The bottom at the entrance to the ocean is shallow 20 inches, and it gets deeper very smoothly. “The location is peaceful and tucked away from the busier parts of the island, but still conveniently close to great local restaurants and small shops. It was the perfect spot to relax and soak in the natural beauty of Moorea.A few things to note for future guests: only the bedrooms are air-conditioned, which I had missed in the description. The communal areas like the living room can get quite hot during the day. Also, there were quite a few mosquitoes and geckos around—which is to be expected……

Beautiful place right on the ocean and very convenient to grocery, restaurants and ferry. There isn’t much of a beach but easy access into water and very shallow. Lots of water toys for the kids and adults! Like any where on the island expect bugs and ants- but they did a great job of cleaning prior.washer was convenient during our stay! ”
