“First and foremost this is a hidden gem!! Great for just relaxing and enjoying solitude or for a fun filled time at Silverwood Theme Park. This place is located on Spirit Lake with a new trek deck dock. When we went, mid Aug the lake was really low and there was a lot of lily pads which made it impossible to fish from the dock. There is a little beach area too you can access but again, when we were there the water level was really low. However, there is a nice park that you can rent paddle……

“We enjoyed our stay here! It was perfect for a little weekend getaway with kids. We fished off the dock and went to check out the resort across the lake for an afternoon. The owners were super responsive and we felt like we had everything we needed. We had a great time!”

Deck was great for watching the river and the birds. The garden was a beautiful space with a fire ring, table and chairs and fully enclosed, which was great for the dogs. If it had been a bit warmer and dryer, we would have lived on the deck and in the garden. Two eagles frequented one of the trees in the garden!”

“My family and I had so much fun together while we were at this home. We had the best view of the lake. It accommodated us all comfortably and all of our needs were met.I really appreciate Dana’s (host/property manager) excellent communication skills as a host.Will definitely stay at this home again. “This property has everything you could ever want in a lakefront home. Swimming, great fishing right off the lighted dock, games, tons of sand, and the cleanest most comfortable home you will find. The communication with the kind owners was outstanding. Our dogs are considered our kids and we are so greatful we were able to include them in our life long memories this trip provided. “Nice older building, one thing to keep in mind there isn't any internet, phone service or TV. For us it was okay we utilize the blue ray for my grandson. For our needs the worked out fine since most of everything we had to do was in Newport for our daughters wedding. Pastor Ted is a very nice accommodating man.”
