“Very peceful environment. Lots of things to do that are included with your stay. Frendly staff. Great location. 10 min from bass fishing at spirit lake. 25 min from silverwood Amusement park. Fun mini golf course. Great pool, sauna and spa. Rec center had everything from corn hole, full size indoor basketball court, vollyball and racketball courts. Golf and driving range. you name it they had it.Totally recomend this place.”

“Family had gathered for a memorial service. Newly renovated, great decor, set up for young family with children not a bunch of older adults. Bunk beds for children. ,Very disappointed in this property for us. Not a property for anyone with disabilities of any kind. The stairs were unattainable for some. Used oven to make pizza and when setting timer with finger the control panel unattached itself, so unplugged stove. Access to beach, water or dock was unattainable by all but a few in our group. ……

“My girlfriends and I do a girls trip and select a different location each year. This home was beyond perfect. The kitchen is amazing and equipped with anything you would need. This home is cozy and charming and I personally loved drinking my coffee on the covered deck and listening to the geese and watching the deer roam in the yard. We Will definetly be back! ”

“Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this cabin. It is very clean and rustic with a nice cozy "woodsy" feel. The owner, Sandy was very easy to deal with and even provided an electric fan for me. My only complaint is that there was construction noise from a work crew next door and loud music from a house nearby on a Saturday night. Not deal breakers though. Cabin has a microwave and fridge. All bedding is provided. There is a porta-john and hand washing station on the premises as well. There is internet……

“House was clean, comfortable and cozy. Lots of interesting decore but not cluttered. Nice kitchen to cook in and large table for eating and other activities.. Deck was great for watching the river and the birds. The garden was a beautiful space with a fire ring, table and chairs and fully enclosed, which was great for the dogs. If it had been a bit warmer and dryer, we would have lived on the deck and in the garden. Two eagles frequented one of the trees in the garden!”

“As advertised - the house is right on the lake. The home is well maintained and cared for. There’s four in our family. The 1-year-old excitedly said “flowers, flowers, flowerrrrrs” upon seeing the photo of sunflowers in her room every time she was being put down. The 4-year-old made good use out of the Disney Princess themed “hidden objects” book in her room and went ham on her first summer of “swimming alone” down by the dock ( splashing in waist high water with a life jacket on). “First and foremost this is a hidden gem!! Great for just relaxing and enjoying solitude or for a fun filled time at Silverwood Theme Park. This place is located on Spirit Lake with a new trek deck dock. When we went, mid Aug the lake was really low and there was a lot of lily pads which made it impossible to fish from the dock. There is a little beach area too you can access but again, when we were there the water level was really low. However, there is a nice park that you can rent paddle……
