“We had a great stay. We attended with our daughter and 2 young grand sons. They loved the cabin! They were excited about the loft, the water fun: fishing and kayaking and exploring the yard and surroundings. The solitude, deer, birds, eagle and hawks were pretty amazing. They were pretty disappointed we were unable to have a fire because of the local burn ban. Hard to forego smores in the outdoors. The adults were pleased by all the kitchen amenities and cabin space as well as the peaceful……

“I will start off with the few bad I guess. The driveway was a pain to get in and out of with my longbed pickup. The place doesn't have a oven or any way to clean clothes. The bbq is a small little charcoal one but it got the job done. Other then that its a nice little hidaway near the lake. We grilled steaks, took the boats out did a lot of fishing. You will probably need to plan to rent a boat ahead of time if you want to go for salmon, Walleye or bigger fish. Plenty of little fish and bass……

“As advertised - the house is right on the lake. The home is well maintained and cared for. There’s four in our family. The 1-year-old excitedly said “flowers, flowers, flowerrrrrs” upon seeing the photo of sunflowers in her room every time she was being put down. The 4-year-old made good use out of the Disney Princess themed “hidden objects” book in her room and went ham on her first summer of “swimming alone” down by the dock ( splashing in waist high water with a life jacket on).
