“Exactly as listed. We were trying to get away from the noise and parties for July 4th. There were fireworks but far enough away that our dog did ok inside. Lots of fields for playing and chasing fireflys. We had s’mores by the fire and enjoyed the views. No complaints . They had everything we could need there. It would be a beautiful place for a wedding or other event.”

“The hosts are very nice. We enjoyed playing games and eating on the screened in porch. The bathroom is a bit cramped but plenty of hot water and water pressure. The hosts have a beautiful yard, very pleasant surroundings.”

“Our family needed a space to relax and spend time together before our kids went to camp for summer. This property was perfect location with the view, easy access to grocery store, and all the outdoor activities the area has to offer. The host has thought of everything! There were blankets, outlets, and lots of comforts of home. We really appreciated the view the most. We sat outside the first night and watched the sunset together. Highly recommend this property. “The waterfall was the selling feature for me to book this property, and the lovely sound of the water didn’t disappoint; it lulled me to sleep for 4 wonderful nights. I didn’t even notice my hubby snoring lol The rustic setting was fabulous! Staying in a refurbished 1880s mill was a fun experience, learning the history was fascinating, too. ”

“It was very nice. Bed was comfy. Close to local attractions and wineries. Back porch was nice and relaxing. No complaints except it was obvious the place hadn’t been stayed in recently as there were a few dead flies around the toilet and cob webs on decks that had been there awhile as they were big. Mine is all in the little details. That is a minor complaint. It’s a nice little getaway. ”

“Nellie’s log cabin is a real gem! Nestled in the woods on a working farm, this cabin is surrounded by beautiful hardwoods and faces a picturesque pond. It is peaceful and quiet and there is no traffic noise- only the sounds of birds, bullfrogs and chirping crickets. It is very close to Hanging Rock State Park. The hostess is extremely responsive and very helpful with any questions or concerns and the cabin upon arrival was absolutely spotless. This was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed!……

“Everything about our stay was fantastic. The property was super clean (most important to me when renting!) We enjoyed the view, roasting marshmallows & playing Yardzee. We also took in some hiking and spent one afternoon swimming at the lake. What a perfect pit stop for my family on our way to the beach. ”
