“As this is a self check-in it would be most helpful to have a three-ring binder listed with items such as “how to” use the peat stove, turn on the hot water, turn on the heat, identify the wifi code. There is a binder filled with bar and restaurant info but what I recommend is different. I did email the host about the wifi code and he let me know it is posted near the TV. As I don’t watch TV I did not think to look in that space. I wanted to try the peat stove as on my Dingle Way walk I saw……

“Cannot say enough good things about this little cottage. It’s excellently located to all the best attractions in Kerry, and it’s perfectly situated in the country but close enough to Castleisland to make getting groceries and going to the local pub easy. The caretaker, Timmy, built a fire for us twice and a local man gave my Dad an autographed book of his own poetry. Absolutely perfect accommodation for a family trip.”

There were some tips on how to get it longer but considering the number of people we registered for hoped that would be taken care of before we got there. “First of all, the home is lovely, spacious and clean! Secondly, Tim is an amazing host; he is quick to respond to queries, super friendly and full of information with a smile. The house is well equipped in the kitchen! We were able to walk into the town of Dingle, which was lovely with a 20 month old in the stroller- so nice not to have to drive in.
