“The staff is so accommodating. The first day we arrived the front desk arranged for a taxi for the next morning.We had an early morning excursion. Second they arranged for a continental breakfast for us before the restaurant was opened so we could have a bite to eat. Then we phoned them and said we would be late returning after a lite fair is served. And they had a little snack available. They are very friendly and answered any questions we had. “The Rocpool Reserve is a beautiful hotel. The staff was very attentive. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Their breakfast was amazing. Although it isn’t really that far from restaurants and bars, it wasn’t real convenient or adjacent to them. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to most restaurants and bars.”

“No hot water for shower. The boiler had to be reset and it was fixed. Breakfast service on 5/21 was slow and lacked the attention to details from the day before. Maybe they were short staffed? Staff in all venues were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would stay here again.”

“This was a very unique place and stay. I would recommend for an intimate overnight. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful and the food was really good. Enjoyed our stay. ”

“The rooms were nice and well kept and the manager let us stay an extra hour after checkout to accommodate our plans. The check-in was a bit fraught. We were told check-in was at 2pm so we had lunch in the restaurant (issues with that also re every 5 minutes a different excuse why we didn't have our food). At 2pm the strange excuses started as to why we couldn't yet check-in. In the end supposedly there was some kind of walk out by the cleaning staff and the manager had to clean all the rooms.……

“Lovely hotel. My room was well equipped, including a fridge. I was overlooking what can be a busy street, but couldnt hear anything. Extremely convenient, the hotel is right in the city centre, just a couple minutes walk from the train ststion and surrounded by shops and restaurants. And the lovely front desk staff were happy to keep my suitcase at reception in the morning while I headed into town.”
