“We came from Texas for a white Christmas, and that is what we got. The tree was beautiful for all of the gifts we brought. We also made Christmas dinner on Christmas day and with what I brought from home and what they had there in the kitchen we made it work. Water pressure was pretty good. With the amount of people we had, we spread our showers out, so everyone had hot water. The beds were comfortable for us. Thats always important for me and my husband with our age. none of our 20yr old……

“We had 7 adults stay for a little under a week in July. The location was great for us (closer to Silverton than Durango), and the cabin was outfitted with most everything you’d hope to have at a VRBO. “The lodge is nicely designed to accommodate a few families. For instance, we had a small family reunion consisting of two families of five and the grandparents. Not only is their ample space, but the location is also such that children can safely play outdoors. What certainly had us pleased is the fact that the owners do have “rules.” For example, shoes are not permitted in the home, which is culturally what we prefer.
