“We had a great stay at this beautiful property. Perfect for a couple (with just the one king bed, bath, and partial kitchen), being onsite at the winery is awesome, with incredible views of the valley and out to Mt Hood. The casita is well done with great finishes. We almost hesitate to review this gem, because we want it available when we come back!”

“The "Little Cottage" is a gem. Setting is beautiful and very quiet. The grounds are huge and include a children's play area. House is immaculate, everything top-notch. Kitchen is beyond fully provisioned. Living Room furniture/TV are classy/comfortable. Bathrooms are super clean. Children will love their upstairs play and sleep area. Note that this area is an open design which also includes a queen-size bed, 2 adult-size chairs facing a wall-mounted TV, baby crib as well as the childrens'……

“spent a long weekend in this quiet Retreat. Beautiful grounds, flowers, river and the chimes were my best. Thank you for your hospitality.”

“Property was 95% clean, a bit disturbing that a cleaning crew missed the over flowing trash under the kitchen sink. Location seemed quiet until you tried to go to bed in one of the upstairs bedrooms. We did not realize the house was located right next to a busy road, so all I heard was road noise all night long, very hard to sleep. Shower heads are low so if you are tall, be careful. Overall, I would give a 9 out of 10, but would not stay here again. We did notify the owner of the trash issue……

“Very nice home. Super clean, with a great kitchen. All the amenities you need. Plenty of room for 6 adults. ”

“A charming cottage with a serene, rolling creek that melts stress. Other than quick changes of the shower water temperatures, I couldn’t be more pleased with the cleanliness, charm, comfort (couch is a sleep magnet zone)and conveniences. Highly recommended. PS I’m elderly and cane dependent if that helps a decision. Many thanks!”

“Beautiful setting surrounded by views of cedar trees and the river. Both the Goat House and the Zen Den were pleasing to the eye. Could have done without the construction and leaf blowers on the Monday morning of our stay. They were literally right in front of our windows for quite some time -- took away from the relaxation. Also, our bed sheets had stains on them, so that's icky, and there were somebody else's dirty socks under the bed. ”

“The hosts home is directly next door and was so glad it was. If we needed anything reasonable they would have been there for us and made it gently known they were focused on making our stay comforting and well addressed. Absolutely will rebook in the future”

“Great location”

“Great property. Very cute, but could use some tweaks in functionality, especially if you have luggage for a longer trip. The hanging closet is too close and an awkward reach over the toilet so did not use. Hot water was not consistent and outside security light kept getting triggered, perhaps by a weather vane in the garden. Despite this, loved the complex and the common area. Well located and quiet at night.”

“This property is super cute and has everything you need for a short stay. We appreciated having the basic spices available in the cupboard and quality cookware/dinnerware. The k cups were a plus also. The bathroom and kitchen were of substantial size and the bed was very comfortable. The only part we didn’t like was the yard area as you felt like you were right in the owners back yard so it was uncomfortable to be out there. It was set up very nicely, though, with a very cool water feature.……

“We were very pleased with the cottage and our stay. Michelle was very communicative throughout the process and the cottage was well-stocked with commonly needed items (we appreciated the stain remover on this trip, not something you'd find at every property!). The main stretch of Newberg is very walkable from this property and we enjoyed its proximity to many of the local wineries/vineyards during this trip.”
