“A charming cottage with a serene, rolling creek that melts stress. Other than quick changes of the shower water temperatures, I couldn’t be more pleased with the cleanliness, charm, comfort (couch is a sleep magnet zone)and conveniences. Highly recommended. “While the inside of the cottage was incredibly clean and comfortable and even perfect for co-operative gaming on the couch, the beautiful garden out front was the perfect location to have dinner and decompress from a long day of adventuring. The cottage is not far from downtown Salem, with a very easy walk through a safe neighborhood to everything of interest. “Beautiful setting surrounded by views of cedar trees and the river. Both the Goat House and the Zen Den were pleasing to the eye. Could have done without the construction and leaf blowers on the Monday morning of our stay. They were literally right in front of our windows for quite some time -- took away from the relaxation. Also, our bed sheets had stains on them, so that's icky, and there were somebody else's dirty socks under the bed. ”

“Every detail for this property was thought out and executed. What a gorgeous setting and incredible host! I travel for a living and this is one of the most impressive finds I have found. Do yourself a favor and give Aide the chance to make your getaway the memory of a lifetime! ”

“The hosts home is directly next door and was so glad it was. If we needed anything reasonable they would have been there for us and made it gently known they were focused on making our stay comforting and well addressed. Absolutely will rebook in the future”

“Very clean and inviting. My only issue was The lack of downstairs seating. The overstuffed chair could have used an ottoman because the chair height was uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time. Another condo chair or a love seat would have been great. I was supposed to have another person with me and if they came we wouldn’t have been able to stay because lack of seating. It is a one person cottage the way it’s set up. Mbecause if the person I was”

“Great property. Very cute, but could use some tweaks in functionality, especially if you have luggage for a longer trip. The hanging closet is too close and an awkward reach over the toilet so did not use. Hot water was not consistent and outside security light kept getting triggered, perhaps by a weather vane in the garden. Despite this, loved the complex and the common area. Well located and quiet at night.”

“This was a sweet little escape not super far away from town. The only thing that I would suggest is asking that if you're visiting in colder months you request the heat be turned on prior to check in. It was freezing and took a few hours to heat up. Otherwise it was a great little place and most likely will visit there again.”
