“This is a wonderful property in a great position. The room I was allocated was lovely especially for me and my little dog. The staff on reception were great! The whole experience was wonderful. There was the choice of the beach near by or sit around the heated pool or sit in the peaceful gardens with a view of the sea. The only thing I would say is that I don’t eat huge meals and the restaurant only offered 2 or 3 courses in the evenings and wasn’t worth the money for me. ”

“Nice Small Classic English hotel, very welcoming, right on the beach front. Nice room , tastefully done. Was concerned that parking was at the rear of the property on a pay and display car park, but turned out to not be an issue. Had room on top floor, you need good legs to get up the stairs . Excellent breakfast . ”

“Lovely staff, very clean room, delightful sea view from dinning room and gardens. Only issue very limited parking and currently scaffold and building work on adjoining wing. We would use The Grand again.”

“We always stay here if visiting Weymouth. It's has a good size carpark and it's a short walk to the town. There is a swimming pool, but not safe guarded so little ones need to be accompanied by an adult. The rooms are spacious, the dinning hall & food is great, although drinks are pricey. ”
