“Fabulous location in the historic centro. Unfortunately, very noisy with street noise late into the night. Our room smelled a bit, though it was very clean. Staff very helpful and good service. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast in the rooftop restaurant very good, though it was pretty mych the same every day. Overall a good stay in a superb location.”

“The hotel is in a very nice building, with a nice courtyard. We asked for a room next to the courtyard. The room was fine but the bathroom had an awful sewer smell. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The location is great, with easy walking to sites, restaurants, and shops. I’m not sure if I would come back due to the smell in my room.”

“First time in Cuenca, so I wasn't sure what sort of place the Hotel Azul would be. Boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise! Nothing over the top, but all aspects of this cozy place impressed me. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice view of the city and strong/ consistent Wi-Fi. The location is great -- a short walk down to the river or quick stroll to the city center (although there are plenty of affordable and tasty restaurants within a stone's throw). “We took an impromptu trip to the Cajas and fell in love with this property. We had a big group of 5 and they accommodated us with ease. It was easy to book, beautiful property, quiet, and so much nature. The workers were so nice and helpful. So many amazing people working together to make this place run. We did on site fishing which was so fun for the kids. The restaurant was warm and welcoming and the food was great. The view was even better. This location is amazing and I highly recommend it.……
