“Close to old Bisbee but not too close. Very nice house and outdoor amenities”

“We had a fantastic stay! Gretchen, the host, was incredibly responsive to all our questions throughout the trip. We happened to be in Bisbee during a quirky, fun-filled weekend, and Gretchen’s recommendations were spot on — we took her advice and had a wonderful time. The house itself is great: aviation-themed (which really resonated with us, as my husband is in aviation), spacious, quiet, and perfectly situated just a few miles outside of town. It was also really neat being right off the Bisbee……

“We were looking for a place that put us close to Cave Creek for birding and a place that would allow for stargazing. This was perfect. In 20 minutes we could drive to the Cave Creek area for some incredible birding options. I was surprised to see over 25 species from the deck of this house in less than 3 hours of birding over three evenings as we sat on the deck in the shade and the sun behind us making for great photos! “We were three women who visited the area for birdwatching. The property provided us with an excellent place to stay---with three bedrooms and more space than we really needed. One of the women especially liked walking around the property and viewing birds while doing so. Wish we had booked a longer stay.”

“This was our second visit to the Painted Pony and it was again a delight for everyone from the four-year old, through the tweens and teens, my grown and married children, and for Grandma and Grandpa. Lots of space, lots of fun things to do (swimming, sauna, basketball, pool, ping pong, etc. It is in the middle of nowhere, which we LOVED! Close to the Chiricahua Mts with great easy and hard hikes. The hosts were very responsive also.”

“My home in Bisbee was too small to accommodate my visiting friends and hotel rooms wouldn't allow for the visit we had in mind. This vacation rental was truly like a home away from home . We shopped for groceries and were then set for the weekend. Clean, comfortable, excellent location and the kitchen had everything we needed plus a lot more. The description and photos provided helped us select the right place. Would rent again.”

“Close enough to walk to town although plenty of parking near the Bodega. House was well stocked with everything we might need. Unless you have a small car best to park down on the canyon road and walk up to the house. Good neighborhood. Enjoy a stay there!”

“Overall, we enjoyed our time at Nirvana Ranch. We came away with good memories with friends. It was a nice location for our trip to explore Bisbee and Tombstone. We had a few minor issue with the water, but the caretaker told us how to take care of it. Beds were comfy and it was a very peaceful place to stay.”
